Spring into Colour

We made it past January, it's time to celebrate! Living in Edmonton, we had a steady temperature of -30C throughout December and January and I don't know about you but I am super excited to ditch the sweaters and leggings and get into lightweight clothing.

The 2022 trends are speaking to us loud and clear with bold, bright shades of prints and colours. According to designers, we’re in for a very lemon-lime 2022. The colours include, lime green, saturated yellow, classic Kelly green and sunset orange. If you love any of these colours, now is the best time to add these pieces in your wardrobe.

  1. Primary Blue

The colour of royalty, was seen hitting the runways of Lacoste's and Loewe's Spring/Summer 2022 collections. Below is a wrap skirt, you can dress it up or down. Elevate your look with a pair of espadrilles or heeled sandals.

2. Tangy Lime

This stunning vibrant lime-green hit the runway looks by Cinq a Sept, Prabal Gurung and Christian Siriano. How cute is this mini skirt?!

3. Hot Orange

Designers like Proenza Schouler, Collina Strada and Christian Siriano all showed monochrome orange ensembles on their runways. If a head-to-toe orange look scares you, have one item in your outfit to have an orange accent.

4. Cerulean

Balenciaga, Nina Ricci, Stella McCartney and Rokh all showed a more cerulean blue in their Spring/Summer 2022 shows. Now this blue is different to the Primary blue, as its lighter and reminds me of an escape to the Grecian Islands.

5. Radiant Yellow

Now, I know Yellow is not a common favorite colour. But if you have done a seasonal colour analysis with me and you're a Spring, then this will look amazing on you! It will definitely give you a warm glow.

6. Kelly Green

This colour ruled the runway at London Fashion Week. It is one of the most popular colours that you will see in stores. What a beautiful statement coat!

Happy Shopping my ladies!
